Police have identified the victims from the double homicide on Friday in New Tampa.

Police found Jeremy Himmelman, 22, and Andrew Oneschuk, 18, deceased at the Tampa Palms condominiums Friday night.

Devon Arthurs, 18, has been charged with two counts of first-degree murder in their deaths.

Police said after the killings, Arthurs, who was still armed, went to the Green Planet Smoke Shop and told customers and an employee there that he had shot two people in a nearby condominium. He also told them they couldn’t not leave.

Once officers arrived they were able to convince Arthurs to let the hostages go and surrender his weapon.

While in custody, Arthurs told police he killed two people and where the bodies were located.

Arthurs was booked into jail early Saturday.

Police said Himmelman, Oneschuk, and Arthurs all lived at the same address, 15350 Amberly Drive, Tampa.
