  • 2 men accused of robbing home, threatening to kill family
  • Woman, husband, adult daughter inside the home at the time

According to a police report, a 63-year-old woman was confronted by two men at about 2 a.m. while she was trying to remove an item from her vehicle.

The woman said one of the men grabbed her, forced her into the residence and threatened to kill her. She said she was forced to lie face down on the couch while one of the men rummaged through the room. She was then forced into another room while a man searched through her things, she told police.

A second man stood watch, she said.

While the home invasion was taking place, the woman's 63-year-old husband arrived home and was forced inside, the report said. The men stole his wallet and cell phone before throwing him against a wall, which cut the right side of his face and caused some swelling, police said. The husband's cell phone was also thrown against the wall, breaking it.

The couple's 29-year-old daughter was also home at the time, and one of the men broke into her room, took her cell phone and threatened to kill her if she called police.

After the men left, the daughter and father ran to a neighbor's home to call police.

In addition to the husband's wallet being stolen, the men stole two Michael Kors watches, several pieces of jewelry, military challenge coins and the family's 2016 Buick Regal.

The Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office later found the stolen car.

Police described the first man as white, with short brown hair and wearing a black mask that covered the lower half of his face. He was wearing a black jacket and khaki pants. The second man was described as a white man wearing dark clothing with a black beanie cap.

The 63-year-old woman said she may have heard one of the men say the name "Aaron," but she wasn't certain, police said. The daughter also said she saw one of the men holding what she thought to be a black semiautomatic pistol.

Police said right now, it's not known whether the family was targeted.
