This week the City of St. Petersburg announced an enhancement to its popular reporting app, "See Click Fix." Users will now be able to track all things reported in the city by other app user via the "Stat Map."

  • Nearly 8,000 resident-reported items addressed through See Click Fix
  • Stat Map will consolidate reports from residents, city government agencies
  • Part of "Transparency in Government" program

Since St. Pete initially launched its popular reporting app, See Click Fix has been been well used by residents.  Nearly 8,000 resident-reported items have been addressed.

This week the City announced an enhancement to the app: the 'Stat Map.'  Think of it as a one-stop-shopping for all things "reported" in the City.

Here's how it works: The St Petersburg Stat Map consolidates See Click Fix reports, code enforcement reports and police calls onto one map. Users navigate through the map, find their street or neighborhood and can see what's been reported, the status of the call and any notes from the city department responsible.

Debbie Volk, Stats Analyst for the City says, the Stat Map is part of Mayor Kriseman's "Transparency in Government" Program.

"You get a bigger, broader picture rather than those asks of See Click Fix."

From the City's perspective, Volk says this is about accountability -- helping each city department do their job faster and more efficiently in order to better serve the people of St Petersburg.

The next version of the Stat Map will include Fire and Rescue Calls. To see the Stat Map, visit the Mayor's Action Center Page of the City's website.
