Update: Florida Polytechnic Police have reported that missing student Ronny Rosario has been found safe. "We at Florida Poly are very thankful for this outcome," said officials.

Police said Rosario was last seen by his roommate at 1 a.m., Monday, Feb. 19. Rosario did not show up for work on Tuesday and has not been heard from since. 

His sister reported him missing Monday night after not hearing from him since Saturday, Feb. 17, according to police. 

Authorities stated that Rosario's car is still parked on campus and that he either left on foot or by other means. 

Rosario is 6 foot, 3 inches tall, weighs 215 pounds, and has brown eyes and black hair. 

The sheriff's office bloodhound unit and helicopter were used Tuesday to search campus surroundings. A mounted unit will be used to check high brush areas on campus Wednesday.
