Authorities are searching for a hit-and-run driver after a fatal crash Sunday in the Temple Terrace area.

The crash happened on U.S. 301 at Gerry Lane just after 11 a.m., according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
Troopers said a driver going north on 301 struck the back of a pickup truck driven by 57-year-old Manuel Patino-Villa.
The impact of the collision caused the truck to overturn.
Patino-Villa and the front seat passenger 55-year-old Maria Munguia-Villasensor were partially ejected from the pickup truck.
Two children inside the vehicle sustained minor injuries.
Patino-Villa died at the scene. Munguia-Villasensor and two children were taken to Tampa General Hospital.
Troopers said the driver who caused the crash abandoned his vehicle and jumped into a white Nissan, which fled the scene. He is described as a black man who was wearing a red shirt and white shorts.
The Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office is assisting in the search.
