Preparations are underway for a rocket launch early Thursday morning — one of two launches from the Space Coast this week.

An Atlas V rocket by United Launch Alliance is set to blast off from Cape Canaveral Air Force Station before sunrise to deliver a spy satellite into orbit for the National Reconnaissance Office.
The launch window for the NROL-52 mission opens at 4:07 a.m. and lasts till 5 a.m. It will be broadcast live on Spectrum News 13.
Two days later, SpaceX is scheduled to launch a Falcon 9 rocket from Launch Pad 39A at Kennedy Space Center.
That mission will deliver satellites into orbit for two companies.
The company tweeted a photo after a static fire test Monday.

The window for the Saturday launch opens at 6:53 p.m.
