A nationwide tour to promote the upcoming Disney-Pixar film “Cars 3” kicks off Thursday at Walt Disney World.

The “Road to the Races” to the races tour begins at Disney Springs with four days of activities planned, according to the official Disney Parks Blog.

Activities include photo opportunities with life-sized cars of characters Lightning McQueen, Jackson Storm and Cruz Ramirez, an interactive play area, a digital postcard and pit crew tire-changing activity.

Prizes will be giving out from the Piston Cup prize wheel, and visitors can try a “high-octane” smoothie at the Dole Refueling Station.

NASCAR will be at the event to share the history and science behind its brand.

An extended sneak peek of the new film will be shown during the tour.

The Disney Springs tour stop will be located in the former Marketplace bus loop, hear Once Upon a Toy.

Event hours will be noon to 7 p.m. Thursday, 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Friday and Saturday, and 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday.

Following the Disney Springs pit stop, the tour will move to 26 other cities across the country including Tampa (April 4), San Antonio (April 11) and Charlotte (May 19-20).
