Star Wars dominate the headlines last week—Star Wars Celebration in Orlando, “The Last Jedi“ trailer and Star Wars Land updates.

However, the latest Star Wars “news” has sent the internet into a frenzy.

The current rumor circulating on social media is that Disney is planning to build a Star Wars themed luxury resort.

According to reports, a survey making the rounds mentioned a possible hotel experience that would take place on a Star Wars Starship. It also included concept art.

The resort would include a two-day story set in the Star Wars universe, where guests would be surrounded by a continuous experience. Guests would also get to interact with Star Wars characters, learn to wield a lightsaber, explore the ship and undergo flight training.

According to the survey, the entire experience would cost $900 to $1,000 per guest.

It’s important to note that the survey is being conducted by a third party via Swagbucks.com, an online rewards website.

Here’s the thing, none of this is confirmed. Disney could be planning a full-blown Star Wars resort. However, the company could also just being putting feelers out, testing the Star Wars waters. It's also entirely possible that this may never happen.

That's why it’s important to remember that this is just a rumor.

There are countless “projects” that Disney and other theme parks have been reportedly working on at any given time that never came to be.

Star Wars theme lands are under construction at Disney’s Hollywood Studios and Disneyland.

Disney is planning an interactive, immersive experience at the park. During a panel at Star Wars Celebration last week, Disney Imagineers revealed that guests would be able to build a “reputation” that would affect the experience through the lands. Read all about it here.

Both lands are expected to open in 2019.

In the meantime, fans can look forward to several Star Wars additions at the park.

"The Last Jedi" will be added to Star Tours sometime this year. New "Star Wars" merchandise is also being sold at the parks.
