Attendance, revenue up at Disney parks
Earlier this week, The Walt Disney Co. released its quarterly earnings report.
The company reported that attendance was up 4 percent at its U.S. theme parks. Revenue increased 9 percent to $4.3 billion.
Disney is expecting to see more growth at its parks in the next few years.
The company has multiple new attractions opening this summer—Pandora-The World of Avatar at Disney World and Guardians of the Galaxy-Mission: Breakout at Disneyland.
Reservations now open for Universal’s Aventura Hotel
Universal Orlando is now taking reservations for its upcoming Aventura Hotel.
The hotel is scheduled to open August 2018.
It will feature 600 rooms and suites, food hall, resort-style pool and a rooftop bar.
Room rates start at $97 per night with a seven-night stay.
Get Legoland’s ‘Awesomer’ pass for $99
Legoland Florida will offer its Awesomer Annual Pass for $99, a $50 discount.
The deal will be available online during a flash sale May 26-29.
The Awesomer pass includes admission to Legoland Florida, Legoland Water Park, The Cocoa-Cola Orlando Eye, Madame Tussauds Orlando, Sea Life Orlando Aquarium and Legoland Discovery Center in Atlanta.
