Palm Bay Fire Department crews are battling multiple brush fires, authorities said.
The fires are within the area of Hallendale Avenue and Bombardier Boulevard, according to Sgt. Christian Van Zandt, with the Palm Bay Police Department.
As of 5:39 p.m., the fires have been contained.
No homes were damaged, but some residents self-evacuated.
It’s unknown what caused the fires.
Crews are also battling a brush fire in the West Melbourne area.
