Libby’s Legacy Breast Cancer Foundation also was there at ribbon-cutting ceremony for the garden, which grows healthy, organic food for women who have undergone breast cancer treatment.

The Pink Ribbon Garden is at Lake Druid Park, and the land was donated by the city of Orlando.

"Knowing that there is a consciousness starting here in Orlando about health, about wellness, about real food and how it can help the process of going through a cancer diagnosis -- that gives me so much hope," Etheridge said.

The project enables a "grow one, give one" concept — meaning each survivor will tend the garden and collect another bag for a patient in current treatment.
