The wristband will be mainly used for the water park’s Virtual Line system, allowing visitors to skip the queue for attractions. An alert will be sent to the device, letting riders know when its time to return to the attraction.

However, that’s not the only way the device can be used.

Visitors will be able to open lockers with TapuTapu, according to a post on Universal’s official blog. With the device, visitors will also be able to access interactive photo ops and “selfie-spots” with TapTu Snap.

Special effects can also be activated with TapuTapu, including hidden images in the volcano’s cave.

Purchases at Volcano Bay can also be with TapuTapu. Visitors can add a credit card to an online account. The wallet can also be accessed through the Universal Orlando mobile app.

TapuTapu wristbands are included in admission to Volcano Bay. The device is returned at the end of the day.

Volcano Bay will have its grand opening May 25.
