“The Shining” is coming to this year’s Halloween Horror Nights at Universal Studios, the Orlando theme park announced Friday.

The haunted house will be based on the 1980 film starring Jack Nicholson as the ax-wielding caretaker of the Overlook Hotel.
Guests will be able to venture through hotel and witness “Jack Torrance’s spiraling descent into insanity.”
In the house, guests will encounter murderous, ghostly entities, which are lurking around every corner.
“Our goal is to have you constantly doing a double take and give you that, ‘Did I just see that?’ feeling,”said HHN show director Charles Gray on the official Universal Orlando blog.
Universal Studios Hollywood’s version of HHN will also have a “Shining” house.
HHN typically includes haunted houses from classic and modern horror properties like The Exorcist and the Halloween Franchise.
FX’s American Horror Story is the only other maze that has been announced for this year’s event so far.
Halloween Horror Nights begins Sept. 15 and continues select nights through Nov. 4.
