An update to the theme park’s website shows that registered users have the option of adding a credit card to their accounts to “make purchases using your TapuTapu wearable.”
The website says users who link their Volcano Bay park tickets will enable “Universal Pay” via the device. Users will also be able to set a security PIN to protect their purchases.

Other added features include setting spending limits for your group.
The TapuTapu wristband, which is offered in four colors, will be given out for Volcano Bay visitors to use while at the water park. The device will allow visitors to "virtually" hold their place in line at attractions. An alert will be sent once it's time to return.
The device is also interactive, allowing visitors to activate special effects at various attractions.
TapuTapu must be returned at the end of the day.
Volcano Bay is set to open May 25.
