For the first time ever, iFly Indoor Skydiving has designed not one, but two wind tunnels in the same facility.

The attraction is celebrating the grand opening of its newest attraction next to Wonder Works on I-Drive.

We were there as little 5-year-old Dorian Cedar demoed her skills.

"It feels like fun," she smiled, sporting her custom-made pink flight suit.

Her parents actually met while skydiving in South Florida. Dad, Trevor, is now an instructor who says indoor skydiving is a critical first step.

"This is the batting cage and the driving range for skydiving," he told us.

So Dorian's practicing her techniques, like keeping her head up during flight.

"If I get my head down," she explained, "I'm going to fall all the way down."

The attraction features two all-glass flight chambers. That now doubles the number of flyers. The new facility features an open single-story floor plan that will allow folks walking around outside to peek in at the flight experience.

In fact, general manager Amanda Siegel says 80 percent of guests are walk-ups.

The tunnels are temperature-controlled -- a big step for the Orlando iFly.

"We had an old location down the street for 19 years," Siegel said. "We were dependent on the outside weather. So if it was hot outside, it felt hot in the tunnel. If it rained outside, it rained in the tunnel!"

Each wind tunnel features a 12-foot diameter flight chamber with wind flow powered by two quiet and clean running electric motors.

"Within 10-15 minutes, you can let them go and let them fly on their own," Cedar said.

Each guest experience lasts about 2 hours, which includes gearing up and the training session. Flyers must wear provided flight suits. Instructors are trained to grasp the handles of the suits should they need spotting.

iFly is located at 8969 International Drive. Pricing can be found on iFly's official website.
