Central Florida’s newest roller coaster is now open at Fun Spot in Kissimmee.

  • Mine Blower features 360-degree barrel roll
  • Riders are restrained with seat belt, lap bar
  • The coaster cost $6 million

Mine Blower, a wooden coaster, features a 360-degree barel roll, sending riders temporarily upside-down. It’s one of two coasters of its kind in the U.S. to feature that type of turn.

Although there are no shoulder restraints, riders are kept in place with a seat belt and a lap bar.

Designed by Gravity Group, Mine Blower is about 83 feet tall and goes about 48 mph.

It also features banked turns along the way.  

It was built where two Go-Kart tracks were once located.

The new coaster cost Fun Spot about $6 million.

The last coaster Fun Spot opened was White Lightning at its Orlando location in 2013.
