The most-anticipated footage of the weekend was unleashed at the D23 Expo on Saturday.

Marvel’s Kevin Feige assembled the Avengers to help introduce the behind-the-scenes footage. Josh Brolin, Paul Bettany, Elizabeth Olsen, Don Cheadle, Sebastian Stan, Karen Gillian, Anthony Mackie, Chadwick Boseman, Benedict Cumberbatch, Tom Holland, Chris Hemsworth and Mark Ruffalo all took the stage, along with co-director Joe Russo. His brother Anthony stayed in Atlanta to finish up “Avengers: Infinity War.”

The biggest surprise was the trailer tacked onto the very end, which cause the crowd to erupt.

It begins with the Guardians of the Galaxy flying through space. Suddenly, a body hits their ship. But it’s not just any body, it’s Thor, who has no idea who they are or what’s going on. From there, the trailer shows the other Avengers dealing with a world in peril.

“Infinity War” will pit most of the Marvel Cinematic Universe characters against Thanos, who seeks all the Infinity stones in order to become powerful.

Side note from the trailer: Spider-Man is also decked out in a new, advanced suit, similar to the one shown in “Spider-Man: Homecoming.”

“Avengers: Infinity War hits theaters May 4, 2018.
