On Saturday at Disney’s D23 expo, director Rian Johnson shared behind-the-scenes footage from the eighth “Star Wars” movie. The clip showcases the creative process behind the much-anticipated sequel, complete with outtakes and actions shots.
So far, the plot for “The Last Jedi” has been kept under wraps. The clip doesn’t provide any details either.
The first official trailer for “The Last Jedi” was released during Star Wars Celebration in April.
Johnson also wrote the movie, which stars Mark Hamill, Daisy Ridley, John Boyega, Adam Driver, Carrie Fisher, Oscar Isaac, Lupita Nyong’o, Domhnall Gleeson, Anthony Daniels and Gwendoline Christie. New to the cast are Kelly Marie Tran, Laura Dern and Benicio del Toro.
“Star Wars: The Last Jedi” is set to hit theaters on Dec. 15.
