Day 3 of Disney's D23 Expo was calmer than previous days, as the convention came to a close.

With the major presentations out of the way, many fans spent the last day at shopping or attending Alan Menken’s one man show. Some even visited nearby Disneyland for a special viewing of Fantasmic, which officially returned to the park.

It was an exciting and chaotic weekend filled with surprises, long lines and, of course, all things Disney.

On Friday, Disney honored various influential people as official Disney Legends, including Oprah Winfrey, Stan Lee, Mark Hamill, Julie Taymor and Carrie Fisher.

Later that day, Pixar CCO John Lasseter shared details about Pixar and Disney Animation’s upcoming slate of movies.

Disney stunned fans Friday when it unleashed a trailer for Avengers: Infinity War and a teaser for the live-action Lion King remake. However, Disney wasn’t finished with the surprises. During its Parks and Resorts presentation, Disney confirmed several attractions for it theme parks, including a Tron ride for Magic Kingdom, a Guardians of the Galaxy ride for Epcot, a Ratatouille ride for Epcot and a Mickey Mouse ride for Disney’s Hollywood Studios.

In addition to attractions, Disney shared details about the new transportation system planned for Walt Disney World called Disney Skyliner.

This is hardly the end. Disney will host another D23 Expo in 2019.
