Hulk Hogan is searching for new interactive guest experiences for his International Drive beach shop, and he wants the world's largest amusement trade show — IAPPA — to help.

  • He says he's heading to trade show IAAPA to find attractions

The wrestling legend interacted with surprised guests Tuesday just moments before our exclusive interview at Hogan's Beach Shop.

The wrestler is getting ready to launch an attraction at his shop that allows guests to cut wrestling promos. But he's looking to add more attractions.

"We're going to make it official right now, because I'm going into the bad guy mode," Hogan said. "IAAPA, I've been in Yapapi strap matches, but IAAPA convention, get ready. I'm going to be the new ambassador.

"I just want to go see what the new stuff is... Crazy stuff that might make you feel, see, smell and hear what it's like to be in front of 20,000 people," he said.

Hogan's Beach Shop is moving across the street on the ground floor of the Hollywood Plaza, under construction now. His new space will be almost 4,000 square feet — about 40 percent bigger than his current location.

IAAPA is in November, and Hogan is letting News 13 follow him as he shops, scoping out the newest technologies.
