Hundreds of people gathered at Walt Disney World early Thursday for a chance to audition for “American Idol.”

Contestants from all over Central Florida lined up at Disney Springs before registration began at 6 a.m.

Several restaurants opened early to accommodate the crowds, offering breakfast items.

Several celebrity guests, including American Idol alumni Jordin Sparks and Ruben Studdard were in attendance to kick off auditions at 8 a.m.

If you’re one of the many “American Idol” hopefuls who couldn’t make it to the open audition, don’t worry there’s still a chance.

Once the bus leaves, an “American Idol” pop-up audition kiosk will be placed at Disney Springs through Sept. 15, allowing you to create your own audition video.

Audition videos can also be submitted online.

The "American Idol" bus will make its next stop in Miami on Saturday.
