Muppets Courtyard at Disney’s Hollywood Studios has been renamed as Streets of America is transformed into Grand Avenue.
The area that houses Muppet Vision 3D will now be known as Grand Park. Restaurants like PizzeRizzo and Mama Melrose’s Ristorante Italiano and surrounding shop will remain, as will the 3D show.
The Muppets theater was recently renamed Grand Arts Theatre, complete with a brand-new marquee, to reflect the changes in the area.
Grand Avenue will take over a portion of the former Streets of America. The reimagined area is inspired by present-day downtown Los Angeles. Facades for a music shop, loft apartments and a tailor will soon appear. Each window facing the street will feature a display.
A new corner pub will be added to the Grand Avenue area. BaseLine Tap House will feature California beer and wines and a selection of small bites like pretzels.
Grand Avenue is set to open this fall.
