A hiring incentive is available for select roles at the Walt Disney World Resort.

  • Disney offering bonus to new hires
  • Culinary, housekeeping employees & bus drivers eligible

The company is offering a new hire bonus to new full-time and part-time culinary, housekeeping and bus drivers.

Newly-hired cooks or chefs are eligible for a bonus of $1,000 to $1,500, according to Disney. Bus drivers and housekeepers who get hired are eligible for a $500 bonus.

Disney offers hiring incentives periodically. In June and July, newly-hired lifeguards were eligible for a $500 bonus.

To be eligible for the hiring bonus, employees "must be in the position continuously for at least 30 days after hire and be employed by The Walt Disney Company at the time of payment," a job posting stated.

Disney offers park employees a rewards package that includes complimentary theme park admission, discounts on merchandise and dining at locations across the resort, and access to onsite childcare centers.
