Florida Hospital will continue to make its eCare Urgent Care service free statewide through Friday.

eCare is an urgent care video service, providing face-to-face care over your mobile device with Centra Care doctors or nurse practitioners.

To do it, download the eCare Urgent Care app from the Apple app story or Google play, and set up a personal or family account.

Florida Hospital providers will be available from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. everyday until the storm subsides.

Users can get tele-health consultations for issues like:

  • Skin conditions
  • Minor injuries
  • Lower back pain
  • Infections
  • Urinary tract infection
  • Allergies
  • Coughs, colds, bronchitis and flu
  • Sinus upper respiratory infections
  • Pink eye

This service is usually $49, but Florida Hospital is waiving that fee for eCare visits now through Friday, Sept. 15.

More information is available on the Florida Hospital website.
