An 11th person has died in connection with a Hollywood, Florida nursing home that lost air conditioning during Hurricane Irma, police said Friday.

Alice Thomas, 94, died Thursday, and her death is connected to an investigation into patient deaths at The Rehabilitation Center at Hollywood Hills, which sweltered after it lost power during the hurricane.

Eight people were confirmed dead Sept. 13, three days after Irma struck. A ninth person died Tuesday, and a 10th patient Wednesday, police said.

Those who died were identified by police as: Carolyn Eatherly, Gail Nova, Estella Hendricks, Bobby Owens, Miguel Franco, Manuel Mendieta, Albertina Vega, Betty Hibbard, Carlos Canal, Martha Murray and Thomas. All range in age from 71 to 99.

The nursing home's license has been suspended, and it's under a criminal investigation. The owners have sued the state over its license.

FDLE has established a tip line for any information about the deaths, or the Hollywood Hills Rehabilitation Center between Sept. 9 and Sept. 13. The toll free number is 1-866-452-3461.
