Timothy Hughes, 33, walked into Sunshine Drugs on NE Jacksonville Road and told the pharmacist he needed opioids, deputies said.

The pharmacist told investigators that Hughes had his right hand in his pocket and implied that he was armed.

Hughes reportedly told the pharmacist, “I don’t want any trouble. I just need opioids.”

The pharmacist gave a bottle of hydrocodone pills to Hughes, who left the scene shortly after.

A description of Hughes’ vehicle was given to law enforcement officials. Fifteen minutes later, Ocala Police spotted the suspect's vehicle on East Highway 40, the Sheriff’s Office report stated.

The driver matched the description of Hughes, who was then detained.

Hughes told deputies he wanted to go back to the store and apologize to the employees.

He was taken to the Marion County Jail and charged with robbery with weapon implied.
