A food and wine event is getting bigger and more popular every year. In fact, the Swan and Dolphin Food & Wine Classic is already sold out Saturday, with only a few hundred tickets remaining for Friday.

The eighth annual Classic lets you sample and sip on unlimited quantities, from Shanghai dumplings and crispy duck, to sushi, pasta and pastries. Falling on Halloween weekend, this is the trick-or-treating alternative -- for adults.

"Just try a bite!" an excited Food & Beverage Director Tony Porcellini insisted, referring to the pretzels in the Beer Garden. "They are so soft."

Along with the Beer Garden, the other three themed areas are Chinatown, Carnival Corner and the new Bubble Lounge, a speakeasy of sorts. (You can take a look at a photo of each and every menu offering on the Classic's official site.)

The Classic also features delectable desserts by Chef Laurent Branlard, one of Central Florida's well-decorated pastry chefs, who's particularly fond of honey.

"I paired it with hazelnut and tea -- Earl Grey tea," he showed us, pointing to his Honey for Tea pie-sliced concoctions.

Before you make your way into the causeway, the Classic offers 11 seminars Friday and Saturday. So if you want to learn about Malbec, bubbles, beer or even Riesling, some of the hour-long classes are still available.

"All the classes are really demystifying wine, not taught with being pretentious," Porcellini said.
