Volusia County Sheriff's Office is investigating a robbery at a Pierson pharmacy on Friday night that was caught on surveillance video.

The pharmacist at a Pierson community pharmacy on 112 E. 1st Ave. told deputies that an unknown male suspect, who allegedly had a gun tucked in his waistband, robbed him around 6:23 p.m.

Two other employees were also in the store at the time.

The suspect got away with pills and cash, said a VCSO news release. He has been described as a black male in his twenties wearing sunglasses, a gray hoodie, cargo pants, black gloves and white shoes.

VCSO is encouraging anyone with information to contact the Sheriff's Office or Crime Stoppers at 888-277-TIPS.

There is a cash reward up to $5,000.
