The Sumter County Sheriff's Office recently announced the arrival of the newest addition to their K-9 unit: an adorable, 16-week old bloodhound puppy.

The Sheriff's Office received the male puppy from Mayo Correctional Institute, and he will undergo extensive training, learning, tracking and scent detection before joining the other bloodhounds, Dallas and Libby.

But the office needs your help in giving this bloodhound pup the perfect name.

There will be a social media campaign on the Sumter County Sheriff's Office's Facebook page, where participants can comment, Facebook private message or email their name choice to mkeszey@sumterso.org until Friday, Nov. 10.

The winning name will be announced on Wednesday, Nov. 15.
