An Ocala man accused of killing a 26-year-old man in Silver Springs Shores has been arrested, according to the Marion County Sheriff’s Office.

Deputies say Kasaan Kalik Patterson, 19, got into an argument with Jeffery Todd Aaron early Wednesday morning.
At 2:15 a.m., deputies responded to a shooting in progress in the area of Willow Road. They found an abandoned vehicle that had evidence of being involved in shooting.
Investigators say the actual shooting happened a short distance away, at a residence on Pine Course Loop.
According to deputies, a witness heard gunshots after Patterson and Aaron argued.
Dispatchers received a 911 case from a woman who said she was driving Aaron to Ocala Regional Medical Center.
He died from his injuries at the hospital.
Investigators used surveillance video from a nearby resident’s house to identify Patterson.
He has been charged with murder and is currently being held at the Marion County Jail on a $100,000 bond.
