A 31-year-old Ocala man is facing three counts of DUI manslaughter stemming from a January crash.

Travis Lee Johnson was arrested Sunday and charged in a fatal crash from January 22 involving a tow truck he was driving.

According to the Florida Highway Patrol, Johnson was under the influence of drugs just when the Ford F-650 tow truck he was driving for Cash's Towing went off Stare Road 326 in Ocala.

The crash happened at 5:52 p.m.

According to the FHP report, he steered the truck back onto the road and crashed head-on into an SUV carrying three people. William McCullough, 61, his wife, Renne McCullough, 56, and their son, Ryan McCullough, 31, were all killed in the crash. 

Johnson was charged with three counts of DUI manslaughter, 3 counts of vehicular homicide, 4 counts of DUI property damage, careless driving and for not wearing a seat belt. 

Johnson was booked into the Marion County Jail.
