Lake County deputies have released a composite sketch of a suspect accused of fatally shooting a 24-year-old man in Astatula.

Deputies say on Feb. 2 around 11 p.m., the suspect entered Kevin Trejo’s home on 13424 Delaware Avenue and shot Trejo inside the home.

Trejo reportedly died shortly after he was shot and was pronounced dead at the scene.

The suspect allegedly left the scene in small, light-colored passenger call, according to deputies.

Detectives say this was not a random attack.

Authorities describe the suspect as a black male, with black short hair and dread knots about 2-3 inches long. He has dark-colored eyes, weighs about 175 pounds, and is about 5 feet, 9 inches tall.

Deputies approximate that the suspect is in his early to mid-20s. He also wore a gray hoodie and blue jeans.
