As a member of the community, Jonathan reports on the issues that affect the people of Pinellas County every day. 

Even though he grew up on a ranch in Colorado, news has always been Jonathan's passion. He'd volunteer to drive the tractor so he could listen to news talk radio.

Before joining Bay News 9, Jonathan made his home in Wyoming. During his time in the Cowboy State, Jonathan did everything from anchoring to reporting, covering a wide range of stories. The long hours paid off, as Jonathan won two Associated Press awards for his coverage of a tri-state region that included southeastern Wyoming, northern Colorado and western Nebraska.

Jonathan is a graduate of Colorado State University with a degree in technical journalism. He is excited to make Florida his new home because he says he would rather visit the snow than live in it. In his free time you will find Jonathan at the gym, at the beach or at home reading a good book or watching the news.
