Let's go back to September 12, 2015.

The site was Doak Campbell Stadium on the FSU Campus in Tallahassee.

USF entered their game against the Noles young, inexperienced, and, ultimately, overwhelmed.

The Bulls lost 34-14.

Now, USF is undefeated and has scored a program-record 149 points in it's three games of the season.

FSU is dejected. Dropping from number two to 13th in the latest AP rankings following an embarassing 63-20 loss to Louisville this past weekend.

USF knows it cannot worry about what the Noles did last week anymore than they can worry about how they played at FSU last season.

It's all in the past.

And these are two different teams that will step out on to the field at Raymond James Stadium.

"We are a lot more confident," said Bulls running back Marlon Mack, who is just 137 yards away from breaking the program's career rushing record (2, 731). "We trust this offense and what we can do in it with Quinton (Flowers) playing a lot better for us too."

"They are going to play some NFL players over there from FSU," said Bulls head coach Willie Taggart. "This is their chance to show that can with them."

While the Bulls would prefer not to look back to last season's game, it's hard not to think about FSU running back Dalvin Cook, who ran for a career-best 266 yards and 3 touchdowns.

"(Dalvin Cook) beat us all by himself last year," said junior linebacker Auggie Sanchez. "I do not remember his exact numbers, but i know he set some sort of record against us and his offensive line killed us that day."

The record Sanchez is referring to is the single-game rushing record against a USF defense, which now belongs to Cook with those 266 yards on the ground a year ago.

Speaking of records, USF has set a program record for points through their first 3 games and will look to start 4-0 for the first time since 2011. And Willie Taggart believes there is no reason for any of his players to not be hyped up for this game on Saturday.

"This game is going to be shown to the nation," said Taggart with a big grin. "And think about this, you don't even need cable to watch this game. You just need two rabbit ears and you could probably find this game on your TV screen. It's big time for everyone."
