Lowry Park Zoo has a new way for disabled guests to enjoy the water play areas at the attraction.
The zoo has added four waterproof wheelchairs called aqua chairs. They were purchased with a $5,000 grant from the Christopher and Dana Reeve Foundation, and they're available free of charge for guests with disabilities.
The chairs are made of PVC and stainless steel and are designed for use in and around water.
The zoo has two water play areas where kids can cool off on hot days.
