Citrus deputies arrested three Crystal River residents saying they made a "big" methamphetamine bust in a quiet neighborhood.

Amy Lutes, Anthony Lolly and Marc Carroll face felony drug charges.

According to Bay News 9's partner newspaper, the Citrus Chronicle, deputies and Fire Rescue's Hazmat Unit responded to the Wacker Street home to handle the chemicals, Coleman fuel cans, syringes, and ammonia.

Authorities started watching the house for illegal drug activity two months ago.

The purchase of a key ingredient, ephedrine, normally tips off law enforcement.

The Sheriff's Office says they are second in the state in the number of meth labs shut down.

HazMat crews are there to make sure accidental chemical inhalation or potential fires don’t occur.
