A Tampa apartment building was briefly evacuated overnight after a fire.
The flames were reported just before 3 a.m. in the building in the 8000 block of North Florida Avenue.
According to Tampa Fire Rescue, a couch located in a room in a second-floor apartment caught fire. Crews were able to quickly put the fire out.
Officials said the sprinkler system also was activated.
No injuries were reported.
The fire remains under investigation.
