More than 250 students gathered at Eckerd College to watch the presidential debate.

The auditorium was packed and at times the crowd got rowdy with people supporting both of the candidates.

A survey was done on campus to see what issues students care the most about. The economy, education and energy all scored high on the list.

Students watching the debate say they felt the candidates did a good job of sticking to domestic issues rather than just attacking each other.

"It was pretty aggressive. They were throwing some jabs in there so that was interesting,” said Henry Palmer.

"Gov. Romney was talking about how he was planning to lower taxes and Obama was talking about how he feels small businesses need to grow,” said Emma Cotton.

Some students say their minds are already made up. Others say these debates could help sway undecided voters.

Either way, students told us they'll be watching all of the presidential debates closely.
