Several pit bull mixes that were seized in September are now in need of new homes.
The dogs were seized from a home in Bradenton after the owners were charged with animal cruelty. Manatee County Animal Services petitioned the court and received custody of the dogs.
Now officials are looking for people to adopt the dogs.
"The dogs did not ask for the poor treatment they received and they deserve a second chance to live and love," the agency said in a press release.
