Winter is just a few weeks away, and plants will soon need protection from cold temperatures.
A free class called "Protecting Your Plants from the Cold" will be offered to Hernando County residents to provide tips on keeping plants from becoming winter casualties.
The class takes place Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. and will be held at the Spring Hill Branch Library at 9220 Spring Hill Dr. No registration is required.
The class is offered as part of the University of Florida's Extension Services.
