A 10-year-old bicyclist was injured in a hit-and-run by a 15-year-old driver who fled the scene of the crash.
According to Florida Highway Patrol spokesperson Sgt. Steve Gaskins, Dillon McGuinness was hit by the underage driver in the 27200 block of Rover Rd., at Boxwood Street, in Brooksville around 6:30 p.m. Tuesday.
Gaskins said the teen was driving a 1993 Cadillac when he collided with and injured McGuinnes.
The teen was arrested and charged with no driver's license and leaving the scene of a crash with serious injury.
