A man and woman have been arrested in Plant City for allegedly operating a marijuana grow house at which loose marijuana was found in a 3-week-old child's room, the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office said.

Angela Holbrooks, 34, and Christopher Holbrooks, 30, each were charged with manufacture of marijuana, possession of marijuana, possession for the purpose of manufacturing and possession of drug paraphernalia. The infant was removed by Child Protective Services.

Acting on a tip from Crime Stoppers, deputies went to a house on the 2200 block of Bruton Road last Friday and made contact with the Holbrooks. Deputies said they noticed a "strong odor of marijuana" coming from the residence and saw a box with fresh cut marijuana clippings on the front porch.

They returned, armed with a search warrant, and found a hydroponic marijuana grow operation and 37 hydroponic plants, weighing 20 pounds and valued at about $60,000, the sheriff's office said.

Additional charges are pending.
