Fifteen people were arrested and 31 citations were issued during a Pinellas County Sheriff's Office road block during the overnight.
The sobriety checkpoint was conducted from 10 p.m. to 3 a.m. at 4501 66th Street North in Kenneth City. Units, including K-9, narcotics, probation and parole and prisoner transport, set up in the Kmart parking lot.
Deputies broke down the charges as follows:
- 4 driver under the influence
- 10 driving with a suspended or revoked license (one felony)
- 1 outstanding warrant
- 1 violation of driving with a business-purpose only license
- 1 possession of drug paraphernalia
- 1 possession of Oxycodone
- 1 possession of alprazolam
- 1 possession of Opanga
- 1 possession of cocaine
