A Zephyrhills High School teacher is in trouble for disciplining students by having them wear a cone-shaped collar that's used to keep dogs from licking their wounds, authorities confirmed.

Superintendent Heather Fiorentino has recommended the Pasco County School Board fire science teacher Laurie Bailey-Cutkomp.

Bailey-Cutkomp and her students referred to the collar as the "cone of shame," a name inspired by the Disney movie "Up."

School administrators learned about the cone when students posted photographs from the class on Facebook.
