Detectives are looking for a man who robbed a Gibsonton  gas station with a double-barrel shotgun.

According to the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office, a man entered the Chevron Gas Station at 109290 U.S. 41 about 6:15 p.m. Sunday. Wearing a blue stocking over his head and face and armed with the shotgun, he demanded money from the clerk.

Deputies say the robber fired one round into the ceiling and then pointed the shotgun at the clerk again. The clerk complied, and the robber fled with an undisclosed amount of money.

The suspect is described as 6 feet tall and 200 pounds with a muscular build. He was last seen running east into the wooded area behind the station.
