An Armwood High School senior's perfect attendance has paid off with a new car.

Brenna McPhee won a new 2012 Scion XD on Saturday when she drew the winning car key during the 'Perfect Car for Perfect Attendance' event at Toyota of Tampa Bay on Fletcher Avenue.

McPhee, 17, was the seventh name drawn by Hillsborough County School Board Chairwoman Candy Olson.

More than 200 recently graduated students who also had perfect attendance during the second semester of their senior year attended the event for a chance to select one of 10 keys from a fishbowl and see if their key fit the ignition of the Scion.

The event, sponsored by Toyota of Tampa Bay, was an incentive for students to faithfully attend school.

McPhee plans to attend Florida Gulf Coast University in the fall to study biology.
