Firefighters battled a brush fire near Myakka City on Saturday
According to Manatee County Fire officials, the brush fire burned near the intersection of 411th Street and 24th Terrace East.
The fire burned in a heavily wooded, dense area. The fire burned roughly 25 acres. There were no evacuations or road closures.
The Manatee Co. Fire Dept., Myakka City Fire Dept. and the Florida Forest Service worked the fire.
