Two men were arrested, but a woman got away in a crime spree that stretched into a chase from the Brandon area up to Pasco County on Saturday.

According to Hillsborough County Sheriff's spokerson Debbie Carter, Lucious Felder, 22, and Terry Joseph, 25, were arrested after the chase ended up Interstate-75.

Carter said the suspects began breaking windows out of vehicles and burglarizing them at the Camp YMCA at Culbreath Road and Bloomindale Avenue in the Brandon area Saturday afternoon. The suspects allegedly used credit cards stolen from the vehicles at a Mobil Gas Station and a Taco Bell in the area.

Carter said the suspects then drove to Lithia Springs Park where they hit another vehicle.

They then drove to the Fish Hawk Sports Complex and committed two more burglaries.  At the sports complex, witnesses heard a window shatter and saw a vehicle flee from the area.

One witness ran to his vehicle and caught up to the vehicle as it traveled westbound on Fish Hawk Blvd, Carter said.

Deputies responded and were updated on the suspects' location by the witness following them.

An air unit joined the chase and located the vehicle in the area of U.S. Hwy. 301 and Gibsonton Drive. Deputies caught up with the vehicle at the same time, but were instructed not engage the suspects with the air unit able to track them.

The suspects were able to get on Interstate-75 and fled eastbound until they exited at Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd. The suspects drove the speed limit until they spotted deputies again, Carter said. The suspects allegedly threw unidentified items out of their vehicle and a female bailed from the vehicle near County Road 579 and Pruett Road.

Deputies continued following the suspects, but did not engage in a high-speed chase as the air unit tracked the vehicle.

The suspects fled back onto the interstate, according to Carter, and began driving north into Pasco County where Pasco Co. Sheriff's deputies joined the chase. The suspects again exited the interstate eastbound onto State Road 54, turned and went back westbound.

They were met by a Hillsborough Co. deputy with 'Stop Sticks' that punctured the vehicle's front left tire.

The vehicle hit a traffic signal as it turned north back onto the interstate. Before the vehicle stopped, one of the suspects bailed and the second suspect left the vehicle after it stopped, Carter said.

After a short foot chase, the suspects were taken into custody with the help of the air unit.

Felder and Joseph complained of pain and requested medical attention. They were taken to Florida Hospital on Fletcher Avenue in Tampa.

According to Carter, Felder originally provided a false name and birthday to deputies. Both men are from south Florida. Additional charges are expected as the investigation develops. The vehicle used was a rental. Deputies seized numerous allegedly stolen items from the vehicle.

The female who bailed from the car in the Brandon area has not been located, according to Carter. No identity for the woman was given.
