Voters in Hillsborough County cast their ballots in several statewide and local races on Tuesday.

One of the first unofficial winners of the evening is State Sen. Ronda Storms, who defeated Rob Turner by a wide margin in the Republican primary for Hillsborough County Property Appraiser.

Storms announced her candidacy after Turner became embroiled in a high-profile scandal involving allegations of discrimination and harassment.

She will face Democrat Bob Henriquez in the November general election.

Other unofficial winners in Hillsborough County include Victor Crist and Margaret Iuculano, both of whom won the Republican primaries for districts 2 and 6, respectively.

Craig Latimer has won the Democratic primary for Supervisor of Elections.  He will face Republican Rich Glorioso in November.
