It’s certainly not your typical house pet.
Police found a 5-foot, 70-pound alligator living inside a home.
The owner told officers the reptile, named Wally-Gator, was his pet.
The gator was living on a diet of fish, frozen rats and crickets.
While the animal was in good health, it's illegal to keep gators as pets.
Wally-Gator was taken from the home and is now being kept at an animal control shelter.
